Traditional Thai veranda — calm setting for inheritance counsel

Why families choose us

What a well-chosen counsel makes possible

The difference between a difficult estate administration and a manageable one often comes down to who is guiding the process — and whether they have the time to do it carefully.

Six things that shape our work

One advocate, no handoffs

The same senior advocate handles your matter from the first conversation to the final transfer. No briefing new staff, no lost context.

Local knowledge of Khon Kaen

We know the Land Department staff, the court procedures, and the informal rhythms of provincial administration that experience — not a manual — teaches.

Fees stated before work begins

Our fees are set out in writing before any chargeable work commences. What we quote is what you pay, within the agreed scope.

Plain-language explanations

Every step and every document is explained in language that can be understood without a legal background — and shared among heirs who are not present.

Work paced around your family

We do not hurry matters that do not need hurrying. Where a respectful pace serves the family better, we advocate for that — with other parties if necessary.

Scheduled written updates

For ongoing mandates, families receive written updates at agreed intervals. You do not have to write to us to find out where things stand.

Professional expertise

Fourteen years in inheritance law, focused on Isaan

Our founding advocate has spent his career in this area of practice — not as one specialty among many, but as the single focus of his professional work. That depth shapes how we read documents, anticipate problems, and advise families.

Inheritance matters in northeastern Thailand involve specific land title types, court procedures that vary by province, and cultural considerations that a Bangkok-trained counsel may not fully appreciate. We have been present for these matters, in these offices, for long enough that little surprises us.

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Thai civil and commercial law
  • Current Thai Lawyers Council registration
  • Khon Kaen Provincial Legal Practitioners Network member
  • Experience with Chanote, Nor Sor 3 Kor, and agricultural title transfers
  • Probate applications filed across three northeastern provinces
  • Written engagement letter before any billable work
  • Document checklist provided at first consultation
  • Scheduled written updates throughout administration
  • Direct Land Department liaison on behalf of the family
  • Formal closure letter issued when the estate is finalised
Process

A clear process with defined steps

Estate administration involves many moving parts — courts, government offices, creditors, heirs at various locations. We manage that complexity so that families do not have to hold it all in mind themselves.

Each engagement follows a structured process with defined milestones. You know where things stand without having to ask.

Client service

Communication that does not require chasing

One of the most common frustrations families report after working with other legal counsel is silence — not hearing anything for weeks, having to write repeatedly for a simple update. We build scheduled communication into every engagement from the start.

Initial enquiries receive a response within one working day. For families in distress, we prioritise a same-day acknowledgement.

  • Response to new enquiries within one working day
  • Dedicated liaison for all client communication
  • Available by email, phone, and in-person appointment
  • Overseas heirs accommodated via video call

What no other local practice offers in the same combination

An Inquiry Session with a written summary

Our ฿1,900 first session concludes with a brief written summary in plain English — suitable for sharing with family members who could not attend, or for the family's records. Few practices offer a formal first-session document at this price point.

Multi-heir communication protocols

When three or four heirs are involved — perhaps in different cities or countries — we establish clear communication protocols so that each heir is kept informed at their own pace, without the eldest bearing the burden of relaying everything.

English-language service in a Thai provincial context

Our practice works in English throughout — correspondence, document summaries, and consultations. This is not common for an inheritance practice based outside Bangkok, and it makes a meaningful difference to heirs living abroad or to families with international connections.

Caseload limits to protect quality

We maintain a deliberate limit on the number of active mandates. This is not something most practices advertise, because it means occasionally asking a family to wait a short time for our availability. We consider it a mark of respect for the families already in our care.
